As founders, this work came to us long before the idea of a company did. It came through our own families, through neighbours, through elders who once held entire households together and then found their days growing smaller.
Why We Started Companions
I remember the day I had completed about 15 years in the corporate world, standing at the crossroads. As an engineer from IIT Chennai and an MBA graduate from IIM Ahmedabad, the path of stability and a high-paying job lay wide open. But something deeper called me—to build a legacy, not just a career.
I chose to invest my own savings, time, and heart into creating something meaningful: a trusted platform offering companionship and care to those who need it most. That’s how Companion was born.
Today, with over 750+ happy families served, Companion stands as a testimony to what community support and human connection can do. Whether it's elder care services for seniors, child support programs for growing minds, or simply being there for someone who feels alone—we are here.
