About us

We are a team of professionals who strive to provide companionship and better support for aged people to live and feel better at home. The percentage of elders who are living alone has been increasing over the past few years and loneliness has been on the increase among them. Loneliness is a deadlier disease that kills the elders slowly and painfully. We are here to help support these elders with everyday tasks or just provide companionship so they feel more involved and are able to lead a more meaningful independent life.

Our Story

I remember the day I had completed about 15 years of service in the Corporate world, standing at the crossroads. I am an engineer from IIT Chennai and a MBA graduate from IIM Ahmedabad. The typical path lay open before me—continue working in a high-paying job, stability, a “successful” life. But something in my heart called me in a different direction, one that would allow me to make a difference in people’s lives in a way I deeply believed in. I chose to invest my own savings, time, and energy into building something meaningful—a company that would offer support, connection, and care to those who need it the most. That’s how Companion was born, and today, we are proud to have served 750+ happy customers.

Companion was created to be more than just a business. Our mission is to bring companionship to individuals across all stages of life—from the wide-eyed curiosity of children to the wisdom of elders. We saw the need in our communities: children needing guidance, busy professionals feeling isolated, and elders yearning for human connection. We’re here to fill that gap and to stand by each person who seeks comfort, friendship, or simply someone to share their life’s journey with.
